sitour Slovakia was established in 1992 as a subsidiary to sitour Austria, which was founded in 1965. Since then, sitour has built an Internation network in Czech Republic, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, France, USA, Japan and Slovakia. The initial business plan was to provide information systems to ski resorts. Hence the name of SIgnalisation TOURistique. Later, sitour extended its activities to the advertisement at ski resorts and sitour Slovakia - as the only one of all sitour companies- extended its activities to the advertisement and event management in aquaparks and summer outdoor swimming pools.
